Choosing a new chiropractor can feel like a big step, so we keep things simple, clear, and personal from day one. At KOR Wellness & Chiropractic, Dr. Kody Khatiblou takes time to understand your story, your goals, and how your symptoms affect everyday life.
Dr. Kody focuses on realistic expectations, not quick promises, and explains everything in language that makes sense. Together, you’ll set short-term goals to ease your current discomfort and long-term goals to help prevent symptoms from returning through better movement and habits.
Before Your First Visit
After booking, you’ll receive a secure email with our address, general information, and a link to your digital intake forms through Jane, our secure online portal. Please:
- Complete and submit online forms before you arrive
- Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement and access to the area we’ll be checking
- Bring any recent imaging reports if you have them
- Have your insurance card and ID available
Expect to spend about 45-60 minutes in the office for your first visit.
Your First Appointment
You’ll be greeted in our relaxed, friendly reception area, then brought to a private exam room. Dr. Kody will review your forms, ask about your health history, and perform a thorough examination. This may include movement tests, posture checks, and orthopedic and neurological evaluations. Imaging such as X-rays may be recommended before adjustments for certain conditions, but if additional imaging is not needed, or if you bring recent studies, consultation, examination, explanation of findings, and care can often all happen in the same visit.
Your first visit is never a blanket guarantee of an adjustment; everything is based on what’s safest and most appropriate for you.
Ongoing Care, Finances, and Location
Dr. Kody outlines your care plan and reviews finances with you directly, so there are no surprises. The practice accepts most insurance plans including Medicare, but not Medicaid. Convenient payment options are available. Our office is on Bristol Street in Costa Mesa, with free parking, wheelchair access, and easy freeway connections. Visits are by appointment so Dr. Kody can reserve one-on-one time for you.
