Physiotherapy for Better Movement and Less Tension

If tight muscles, stiffness, or limited motion are slowing you down, physiotherapy can help you get your life back. At KOR Wellness & Chiropractic, physiotherapy is woven into chiropractic care so your joints, muscles, and nerves are addressed together. Dr. Kody takes time to understand your history, daily habits, and goals before recommending any service.

Instead of a quick in-and-out visit, you receive care tailored to what your body actually needs, with realistic improvements you can feel and maintain.

What Is Physiotherapy with Chiropractic Care?

Here, physiotherapy means using specific, noninvasive tools and hands-on techniques to support the muscle and soft-tissue side of your condition while chiropractic care works on the joints. Dr. Kody can provide physiotherapy as part of a complete musculoskeletal plan. Depending on your exam findings, you may receive ultrasound therapy, electrical stimulation, myofascial release, or trigger point work along with your adjustment. Ultrasound therapy loosens tight tissues and supports healing. Electrical stimulation sends mild impulses to calm overworked muscles and ease tension. Myofascial Release Therapy (MRT) uses targeted pressure to relieve restrictions and restore movement. Trigger point therapy focuses on “knots” for better comfort and motion.

How Physiotherapy Helps

Physiotherapy is designed to improve how you move and feel day to day, not just for a few hours after a visit. It can be especially helpful if you sit for work, play sports, have old injuries, or feel like adjustments alone have not been enough. Common issues that often respond well include stiff neck or upper back from desk or device use, muscle tightness and limited flexibility, sciatica and leg symptoms linked to irritated muscles or fascia, sports and workout strains, and tension-related headaches.

What to Expect and How to Prepare

Your first visit includes a detailed consultation and exam so Dr. Kody can decide which physiotherapy methods are right for you. If an arm or leg is being treated, wearing shorts can help, and a sports bra is helpful for shoulder or upper back work. Out-of-pocket costs are clearly explained before you commit.
